Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at our new centre in Cairns. This role will involve facilitating person-centred Occupational Therapy services, supporting service development, and providing clinical supervision within the Occupational Therapy Service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, efficient, and person-centred Occupational Therapy services to clients, helping them achieve social and economic participation in their community.
  • Support service development and implement evidence-based practices within the Occupational Therapy Service.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to clients.
  • Mentor and support less experienced team members to enhance professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
  • Tertiary level qualifications in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience working with people with disabilities who have complex and challenging support needs.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing and implementing occupational therapy assessment and intervention strategies in a disability context.
