Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per annum

Job Description:

We are seeking an Experienced HR Delivery Truck Driver to join our General Hardware team in Mareeba, QLD. This full-time role is integral to the smooth operation of our flagship Hardware business.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a HR class delivery truck to transport goods to customers
  • Loading and unloading the truck in a safe and timely manner
  • Maintaining accurate delivery records and documentation
  • Ensuring the vehicle is well-maintained and roadworthy
  • Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally
  • Adhering to all relevant safety and compliance regulations

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current HR class driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a delivery driver in the warehousing, storage, or distribution industry
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of safe loading/unloading procedures and vehicle maintenance
