Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team in a Grade 2 role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a complex caseload, supervising allied health assistants and students, and contributing to the development of clinical leadership skills.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time opportunity, working 0.8FTE. As a Grade 2 Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a highly skilled and collaborative team, providing intensive rehabilitation to patients discharged early from hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a complex caseload, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Supervise allied health assistants and students, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of clinical leadership skills, participating in research, quality improvement initiatives, and service portfolios
  • Work effectively in a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience in assessing and managing clients with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans, achieving optimal patient outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising Physiotherapy students and/or Allied Health Assistant staff and/or Grade 1 Physiotherapists
