Grade 2 Neurology Physiotherapist Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced neurology stream physiotherapist to join our collaborative Specialised (Community) Rehabilitation Program (SRP).

SRP provides high-quality rehabilitation services within Western Health at Home, catering to a diverse community of over 1 million people.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to further develop clinical leadership skills by supervising rotating Grade 1 physiotherapists and allied health assistants, managing research and quality portfolios, and participating in Western Health's physiotherapy student teaching program.

This part-time (0.8 EFT) permanent position offers a unique blend of clinical expertise, leadership development, and community engagement.

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in assessing and managing clients with subacute and chronic neurological conditions
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
  • Supervisory experience of Grade 1 physiotherapists or allied health assistants, or involvement in physiotherapy student education
  • Demonstrated experience in quality improvement and/or research initiatives
