Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Post Office Club Hotel. This leadership role is crucial to maintaining high service standards, ensuring efficient operations, and elevating guest experiences at this renowned venue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all food and beverage operations at Post Office Club Hotel, ensuring exceptional service, quality, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team, fostering a positive work culture and team spirit.
  • Collaborate with chefs and suppliers to curate outstanding dining experiences tailored to the venue's concept and clientele.
  • Manage labor costs, food costs, and stock levels to optimize profitability while maintaining service excellence.
  • Ensure venue presentation is impeccable, with a focus on cleanliness, organization, and ambiance.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints, ensuring a seamless and positive guest experience.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best quality and value for the venue.
  • Implement and refine operational policies to enhance efficiency, guest satisfaction, and overall performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar hospitality management role.
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory control, staffing, budgeting, and health regulations.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to train and inspire a team to deliver top-notch service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a guest-focused mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience in event operations and knowledge of food safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
