Breakfast Attendant Role

Our hotel is seeking a friendly and organized Breakfast Attendant to provide exceptional service to guests in the breakfast area.

  • Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a welcoming experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of menus and service areas.
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables and hotel spaces.
  • Stock and organize service areas.
  • Handle guest requests and offer alternatives.
  • Communicate with departments about VIP guests.
  • Support beverage and food service, including cleaning and restocking.
  • Know service standards for room service orders.
  • Understand menus and specials.
  • Perform cashiering duties and closing procedures.
  • Answer guest inquiries about the hotel and local attractions.
  • Prepare quality drinks as required.

Key responsibilities include maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, working effectively in a team environment, and adhering to hotel policies and procedures.

Requirements
  • Attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Willingness to work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Legal age to serve alcohol and passing responsible serving certification.
  • Food Handlers card as required.
  • Ability to evaluate situations quickly and calmly.
  • Understanding of hotel services and guest relations.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and service orientation.
  • Basic food and beverage knowledge.
  • Numerical ability and basic reading/writing skills.
  • Patience, tact, and diplomacy in customer interactions.
  • Willingness to learn and support team members.
Work Environment

The Breakfast Attendant will work primarily in the hotel's breakfast area, interacting with guests and colleagues throughout their shift.
