Senior Accountant Position

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and taxation, with the ability to provide expert advice and lead a team of accountants.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing senior-level accounting services to individuals, large privately owned businesses, and small-medium enterprises. This will include:

  • Providing expert tax advice and guidance.
  • Preparing complex financial reports and statements.
  • Leading a team of accountants and ensuring high-quality work output.
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision of business advisory services to clients.
  • Leadership and management of a small team of accountants.
  • Preparation of complex financial reports and statements.
  • Maintenance of excellent client relationships.
  • Collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience in accounting and taxation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax laws.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • A competitive remuneration package circa $120K - $160K including super for a Manager (subject to experience and performance).
