We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Equipment Fitter to join our workshop based at Kurri Kurri.

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced underground coal development equipment fitters to work on a variety of projects, including the repair and overhaul of continuous miners and other mining equipment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical fitting, with experience in hydraulic systems and hose management.

They will also have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements
  • Recognised trade qualifications (Mechanical Fitter)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably with maintenance and repairs on mining equipment
  • Experience in Hydraulics & hosing (highly desirable)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing
  • Current driver's licence
