**Role Overview**

The Senior Housing Policy Specialist will contribute to strategic policy work focused on social and affordable housing reform. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, effective project management skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to provide clear advice to inform decision-making.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

  • Contribute to the development and provision of policy recommendations to senior stakeholders and government on social and affordable housing reform.
  • Support stakeholder engagement activities including scheduling and coordinating meetings and workshops, preparing agendas and minutes, distribution of meeting papers and follow up of actions arising from meetings.
  • Undertake research and contribute to the development of policy initiatives within resourcing and timeline parameters.

**Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role, applicants must demonstrate sound conceptual and analytical abilities, strong project management skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Applicants should also have experience working with stakeholders and developing policy recommendations. A strong understanding of social and affordable housing policies is highly desirable.
