Housing Policy Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated policy analyst to contribute to the development of economic and social policy solutions at a Melbourne-based research centre. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our director to support diverse program evaluations and housing needs projects for a range of audiences.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early career researcher to gain valuable experience in high-impact program evaluation and contribute to impactful research initiatives. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent analytical and qualitative analysis skills, strong numerical capabilities, and effective communication skills. You will also need to demonstrate your ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct research and develop policy solutions for government agencies and other stakeholders.
- Support diverse program evaluations and housing needs projects using quantitative and qualitative data.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in economics, public policy, sociology, or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and qualitative analysis skills.
- Strong numerical capabilities and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
