Job Summary

The Regional Quality Manager will lead the Food Safety and Compliance agenda across multiple sites, serving as a key member of the regional leadership team. Regular travel to other sites is required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direction to ensure food safety and quality standards are upheld.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and encourage open communication and feedback.
  • Lead a team of quality professionals to achieve exceptional results.
  • Drive strategic initiatives aligned with company objectives.
  • Support training, audits, reporting, and escalation processes.
  • Partner with customers to meet expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and internal standards.
Requirements

A tertiary qualification in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field is essential. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the food industry, ideally across multiple sites, is required. Proven leadership in quality systems, compliance, and team engagement is necessary.

Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills are essential. A proactive, organized approach to problem-solving is required.

Effective communication and collaboration with customers at various levels are necessary. Discipline in Food Safety and Quality Management is critical. Knowledge of industry standards and conversance with Regulatory Bodies are also required.
