Sydney, New South Wales, Australia beBeeProcurement Full time $110,000 - $170,000
Procurement Specialist Role Overview

The Procurement Specialist role at our organization is pivotal in delivering expert procurement support across our operations, ensuring value-for-money outcomes that are safe, timely, and commercially robust.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your ability to navigate complex procurement environments and deliver sustainable outcomes will be highly valued. If you thrive in a fast-paced, stakeholder-driven environment and are passionate about excellence, accountability, and respect in the way we do business, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies tailored to the value and importance of goods and services being procured.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to understand business needs, risks, and expectations for informed procurement planning.
  • Prepare category spend profiles, lead market testing, conduct tenders, and manage briefings, scoring, recommendations, and negotiations.
  • Deliver presentations and briefings to suppliers, including participation in the annual supplier forum to enhance performance and establish new arrangements.
  • Manage contract development and implementation, resolve issues, monitor compliance, and oversee variations to ensure effective supplier relationships.
  • Provide governance support and guidance on procurement matters to promote best practices across the business.

This role requires a proactive and commercially minded procurement professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments. You should bring a strong understanding of sourcing strategies, contract management, and supplier engagement—ideally gained in the mining, construction, or heavy industry sectors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience managing end-to-end procurement processes, including tenders, negotiations, and contract implementation.
  • A self-starting attitude with the ability to work independently and take ownership of your portfolio.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and a track record of building effective internal and external relationships.
  • A commercial mindset with a focus on delivering stakeholder value.

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced Procurement Specialist who can make a real impact in our Finance/Commercial team based in Sydney. If you're passionate about delivering sustainable outcomes and have a proven track record in procurement, we encourage you to apply.
