Heavy Diesel Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Technician to join our team at Emeco. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and optimisation of our heavy earthmoving fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing maintenance and optimisation of Emeco's heavy earthmoving fleet.
  • Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required.
  • Working safely and adhering to relevant HSE policy and procedures to minimise the risk of injury to yourself and others.
  • Ensuring all maintenance and optimisation targets are met on time and within budget.
  • Working with Emeco customers and stakeholders to meet larger organisational objectives.

Requirements:

  • Must have full working rights within Australia.
  • Proven post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; namely Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi.
  • Recognised National Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Fitter Trade Qualification.
  • High level of understanding of maintenance and reliability principles.
  • Strong analytical mindset and solution focused attitude.
  • Hold a current Australian Driver's License (HR is preferable).
  • High risk licence (is preferable) but we also offer in-house training.
