Network Development Engineer, Internet Edge Engineering

The AWS Networking organization is seeking a talented Network Development Engineer to join our team. As a member of our network engineering team, you will play a key role in designing and architecting networks that are highly available, scalable, and secure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network topologies and architectures that meet the needs of our customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that network designs meet the required security, availability, and performance standards.
- Develop and maintain high-level design documents and technical specifications for network projects.
- Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to influence technology roadmaps and ensure that network designs are aligned with business objectives.
About the Team
The Internet Edge organization is responsible for connecting Amazon to the global Internet. Our mission is to deliver an Internet connectivity experience that sets the global standard for performance, availability, security, and cost. We are looking for a talented Network Development Engineer to join our team and help us achieve this mission.
What You'll Need
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 4+ years of experience in major internet routing protocols.
- 4+ years of experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
- 1+ years of experience in automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell, and/or Perl.
