Permanent roles are available in our Federal Government Department based on the northside of Canberra.

The successful candidates will work with business lines to produce new policy proposals (NPPs). The role involves working on the costing of NPPs, but does not support the development and structure of the NPPs. Our team has a well-established cost model that supports over 100 costing processes each budget cycle.

You will be responsible for negotiating with the policy area on needs of the proposal, as well as providing briefs and answering inquiries regarding the financials of any NPPs.

We require an Australian Citizen with experience working within an external budgets area previously in the Australian Federal Government. You must demonstrate competency with costing and have a solid understanding of the Federal Government budget process.

A strong communicator with technical accounting skills, you will liaise comfortably with senior staff and provide expertise on costing for NPPs and other submissions.
