Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Defence Logistics Specialist to join our team at Sikorsky Australia, a Lockheed Martin Company. As a key member of our logistics customer support team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our Royal Australian Navy customers.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with Defence Logistics Governance and MILIS requirements, expediting emergency orders upon customer requests, and managing the 24-hour help desk to meet customer requirements.

About the Role

This is an ongoing recruitment activity, and we encourage applications from experienced professionals in data management, customer service, and military logistics. You will be responsible for producing, analyzing, and interpreting complex reports and information while maintaining knowledge of company products and customer service processes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with Defence Logistics Governance and MILIS requirements
  • Expedite emergency orders upon customer requests
  • Manage the 24-hour help desk to meet customer requirements
  • Maintain knowledge of company products and customer service processes
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in data management, including the ability to produce, analyze, and interpret complex reports and information
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and take immediate corrective action as required
  • Passion for exceptional customer service and understanding the importance of building strong relationships
  • Experience working within the Military or with a Defence contractor
  • An understanding of Defence corporate governance (highly desirable)
  • Experience with Defence inventory programs such as MILIS or SAP (highly desirable)
