Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Logistics Customer Support Team as a Defence Logistics Specialist. The successful candidate will provide ongoing support to our Royal Australian Navy customers, taking and processing orders from customers and representatives, and acting as a liaison between customers and warehouse while processing and adjusting database for returned goods.

The role requires assisting with Defence Logistics Governance and MILIS requirements, expediting emergency orders upon customer requests, and managing the 24-hour help desk to meet customer requirements. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining knowledge of company products and customer service processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Defence Logistics Governance and MILIS requirements.
  • Expedite emergency orders upon customer requests.
  • Manage the 24-hour help desk to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of company products and customer service processes.
Requirements
  • Experience in data management, including producing, analysing, and interpreting complex reports and information.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take immediate corrective action as required.
  • Passion for exceptional customer service and understanding the importance of building strong relationships.
  • Experience working within the Military or with a Defence contractor.
  • An understanding of Defence corporate governance (highly desirable).
  • Experience with Defence inventory programs such as MILIS or SAP (highly desirable).
