Are you seeking a new career challenge as an experienced Registered Nurse in a Cardiac Cath Lab? This role at Gold Coast Private Hospital offers flexibility to suit your lifestyle, with full-time or part-time hours available for Level 1 RN's. The position is Monday to Friday with on-call requirements out of hours and weekends.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals in a state-of-the-art facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.

We have three theatres covering Cardiac, Vascular and Electrophysiology procedures, and we are looking for a Registered Nurse who can provide safe, efficient and effective evidenced-based nursing care. You will be responsible for coordinating and providing nursing care, supervising and mentoring junior staff, facilitating a learning culture, collaborating with medical professionals, and driving clinical audits.

  • Develop and implement evidenced-based nursing strategies to improve patient outcomes.
  • Lead and manage the nursing team to ensure high-quality care delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve quality improvement goals.
  • Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end-of-life needs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
