Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at a state-of-the-art hospital in Southport, Gold Coast. As a member of our Bariatric Ward, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and evidence-based nursing care to patients
  • Supervise and guide nursing team members
  • Educate and support patients in recovery, rehabilitation, and end-of-life care
  • Lead quality improvement and safety initiatives
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient care
  • Serve as a role model for safe practices
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills relevant to acute nursing practice
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Authority to Work in Australia
  • Minimum 12 months experience as an RN in an acute setting
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proactive, customer-focused approach
