Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide ongoing psychosocial, emotional and practical support to help individuals living with a chronic psychosocial disability identify, work towards and reach their goals. This is an outreach role that requires supporting individuals in their homes as well as in the community.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • You will need to own a comprehensively insured car and have a driver's licence.
  • You will need to have a minimum of a Certificate IV in Mental Health.
  • You will need to have the ability to write case notes and do this articulately and concisely.
  • You will need to have a nuanced and detailed understanding of mental health.
  • Above everything else, you will need to have genuine care and compassion to want to help others.
