Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Line Production Worker to join our team at Visy in Sydney. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating production machines and associated equipment for the manufacture of cardboard packaging.

About You:

  • You have previous experience working within a manufacturing environment and hands-on experience operating machines.
  • You are fit and healthy, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • You possess a good eye for detail particularly in quality control and are performance-driven, adaptable to changes in the workplace and keen to learn new skills, processes, and procedures.

The Role:

Our Night Shift pattern will be Monday to Thursday, 10pm – 6am and Friday 4pm – 9pm shift and will commence in January 2025. However, we would like to fill these roles now to enable training on Day Shift or Afternoon Shift, until the Night Shift commences.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contributing to a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
  2. Operating production machines and associated equipment for the manufacture of cardboard packaging.
  3. Assist with job changes and associated tasks.
  4. Perform quality inspection checks and other procedural checks to ensure the best quality is delivered to our customers.
  5. Houseskeeping duties and any other ad hoc tasks required as part of a site production team.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a range of benefits including comprehensive training, opportunities for career advancement, and a supportive work environment.
