Job Opportunity for a Renal Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our renal team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective patient-focused care to patients and families in the renal program.

About the Role
  • You will work collaboratively with family members and other team members to assess and monitor patient health status, identify needs, and develop plans to meet those needs.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct patient care and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided.
  • Contribute to ongoing professional development of self and others, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to drive unit and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives, ensuring we provide the highest standard of care.
  • Apply current theory and research in care delivery, aligning with our hospital's vision and values.
Requirements
  • Previous hemodialysis experience is an asset.
  • Previous medical/surgical experience is also desirable.
  • You must be available to work in all areas within the renal department.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Education and Training
  • A current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario is mandatory.
  • CNA certification in Nephrology is preferred.
  • Successful completion of Windsor Regional Hospital Renal Orientation program is required.
