Healthcare Operations Leader

The successful candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver healthcare services within immigration detention settings.

This role requires ensuring that care is effective, high-quality, and responsive to the needs of patients, with a strong focus on achieving positive health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of primary healthcare services in the detention facility.
  • Manage resources efficiently to meet business and workflow requirements, including scheduling, rostering, and resource allocation.
  • Adopt and promote a culture of Continuous Quality Improvement by leading change and implementing new processes.
  • Inspire and engage team members by fostering a culture of continuous improvement, motivation, and mentorship.
  • Actively participate in risk management and quality improvement systems to enhance service delivery and outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

A Bachelor of Nursing degree or equivalent qualification is required, along with a minimum of five years' post-graduate clinical experience in a relevant field.

At least five years' experience in leadership or management roles within a complex healthcare environment is also necessary.

Current AHPRA registration in Nursing or another relevant clinical profession is required, without any conditions.
