Multidisciplinary Healthcare Leader

This is an exceptional opportunity to establish and lead a newly formed multidisciplinary team, driving collaboration, inclusion, and high performance while promoting innovation and continuous improvement in care for detainees.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of primary healthcare services in a detention facility setting.
- Manage resources flexibly to meet business and workflow requirements, including scheduling, rostering, and resource allocation to ensure timely, responsive, and appropriate service delivery and continuity of care.
- Adopt and promote a culture of Continuous Quality Improvement by leading, implementing, and championing change.
- Bachelor of Nursing degree with a minimum of five years' post-graduate clinical experience in a relevant field.
- At least five years' experience in leadership or management roles within a complex healthcare environment.
- Current AHPRA registration in Nursing or another relevant clinical profession with no conditions.
The successful candidate will apply exceptional communication and leadership skills, build trust, motivate teams, and foster an inclusive, positive, and engaged culture. They will also have a strategic mindset, ability to translate vision into action, and a deep understanding of healthcare regulations, standards of care, clinical governance, and quality improvement methodologies.
