About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Waste Management Officer to join our team. As a key member of our waste and recycling business, you will be responsible for providing labouring and plant operation support to ensure the efficient delivery of waste management services to our community.

The successful candidate will have a Class C driver's license, experience in the waste management industry, and the ability to undertake physical labouring duties. You will also possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and be willing to work rostered shifts, including regular work outside normal working hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide labouring and plant operation support to contribute to the efficient delivery of waste management services
  • Assist in the operation of Council's waste and recycling business
  • Report to the Coordinator Waste Management
  • Contribute to maintaining a professional and courteous public image

  • A salary range of $55,600 to $78,100 (plus 11.5% superannuation) dependent upon shifts, skills, and experience
