Dietitian – Healthy Living NT – Darwin Role

As a Registered Dietitian with the Northern Territory PHN, you will play a key role in promoting healthy living and disease management in the region.
Key Responsibilities- Impart knowledge and understanding of diabetes, cardiac, and related condition management principles to individuals and support networks.
- Collaborate with the education and health promotion team to develop and implement educational programs.
- Support the creation of educational resources tailored to Northern Territory clients and health professionals.
- Deliver a private dietetics service, if applicable.
- Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA).
- Attained or have provisionally APD status.
- A well-developed understanding of adult education learning principles, presentation skills, stages of behavior change, and group education.
- Valid NT Driver's License or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating education programs, resource development, and health promotion activities.
The Northern Territory PHN may offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for employment and further clinical education.
