In the role of Senior Controls Analyst, reporting directly to the Controls Manager, you will leverage your business analysis expertise to support the effective design and execution of controls aligned with business processes. This includes assisting in investigations following process breakdowns to identify root causes and potential enhancements to processes and controls.

This position presents an excellent opportunity to aid the organization in identifying and documenting operational risks while conducting control self-assessments. You will collaborate with stakeholders to enhance their risk and controls capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform business analysis to ascertain requirements and document process flows.
  • Serve as the intermediary between business units, technology, and risk and compliance teams.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into incidents and control deficiencies to ascertain root causes and formulate appropriate remedial plans.
  • Collaborate with the business to document and evaluate controls.
  • Critically assess information from various sources, resolve discrepancies, and work with other properties to comprehend processes, providing recommendations to business owners and the controls team.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis within a commercial or technology-focused organization.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, particularly in process management and documentation.
  • Advanced analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written (documentation) and verbal (e.g., facilitating workshops).
  • A Bachelor's degree in commerce or technology, or accreditation in Business Analysis is preferred.

Your robust analytical skills and effective communication abilities enable you to relay complex information to a diverse range of stakeholders. You excel in dynamic environments, stay abreast of industry trends, and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Your contributions will be crucial in shaping the success of identifying and documenting operational risks and executing control self-assessments.
