Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager in the development of the Group budget and rolling forecasts, utilizing advanced planning software tools.
  2. Analyze capital management initiatives, including acquisition proposals, and provide recommendations on funding sources and business case modeling.
  3. Provide in-depth analytical reviews of the Group's data and key performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  4. Conduct market, competitor, and benchmarking research, and provide comprehensive financial analysis to inform business decisions.
  5. Develop and maintain complex financial models and system reporting tools, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  6. Provide strategic analytics and insights to senior management on operations, new business opportunities, and other key projects.
  7. Identify and implement process improvements in reporting methodologies, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  8. Regularly review the existing portfolio to identify demographic, economic, and commercial drivers, and provide recommendations for optimization.
  9. Utilize data analytics to identify potential new centre locations and assess the viability of existing centres.
  10. Assess new centre opportunities, including pricing mechanisms and due diligence requirements.
  11. Present findings and recommendations to the business, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
Requirements
  1. Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  2. Experience with financial planning solutions, preferably Jedox.
  3. Minimum 3 years' experience in analyst roles, with a strong background in financial modeling and analysis.
  4. Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to develop complex financial models.
  5. Proven ability to provide key insights and recommendations, with a strong understanding of business operations.
  6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Experience with forecast and budget modeling using planning tools.
  8. Demonstrated commercial acumen, with a strong understanding of scenario modeling.
  9. Member or studying towards a professional accountancy qualification, such as ACA, CPA, or CIMA.
  10. Valid Working with Children Check.
