Job Overview:

The Senior Contract Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the administration of contracts across all phases of a project's lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation, negotiation, and administration of major project contracts.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements, company policies, and client specifications.
  • Monitor contract performance, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Liaise with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors to resolve contractual issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of contract changes, claims, and variations.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior contract administrators.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as law, business, or construction management.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in the construction, infrastructure, or commercial sectors.
  • A strong understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and project delivery frameworks.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
