About the Role

This part-time opportunity offers exposure to various aspects of human resources and workplace health and safety, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, internal communications, and health and safety initiatives.

  • Provide administrative support, including creating employee profiles, coordinating new starter details, and updating internal trackers.
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Attend and capture minutes at monthly workers' representative meetings.
  • Design awareness posters and support internal communication campaigns.
  • Support initiatives like annual flu shots and other staff wellbeing programs.
  • Coordinate and transport staff and/or clients to medical appointments and relevant safety checks.
  • Participate in employee engagement and culture-building activities.
Requirements

We are seeking someone currently undertaking or recently completed a qualification in business administration, human resources, work health and safety, or a related field.

  • Confident communicator with a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence learning new systems.
  • High attention to detail and proactive mindset.
  • Holding a valid Australian driver's license is a must.
  • Willingsness to obtain NDIS worker screening check, working with children check, and police check.
