About the Role

This position is a permanent, full-time role in the People and Safety team, based at Council's Moruya administration offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing advice and generalist support across the full scope of Human Resource functions, contributing to the delivery of a positive employee experience. The focus of this position will be on talent acquisition, workforce management and continuous improvement. The starting salary for this position is $78,029.84 per annum plus 12% superannuation. About You

We have an exciting opportunity to join a hardworking and supportive team Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience working across the HR lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding and offboarding. They will be an administrative guru with outstanding organisation and communication skills and an eye for detail. Importantly, they will feel strongly about positively contributing to the organisation through continual process improvement, improving the employee experience and overall workplace culture.   • Certificate IV in Human Resource Management, relevant qualification or practical experience on the job.
  • Your experience in effective talent acquisition, onboarding, human resource projects and administration, performance planning and management and policy development.
  • A proficiency in using Human Resource information systems and an ability to complete data entry, reports, advertisements and employment contracts with a high level of accuracy.
  • Your demonstrated ability to interpret, analyse and advise on the Local Government State Award 2023, industrial relations legislation and Council's HR policies.
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to meet deadlines, complete accurate record keeping and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Your demonstrated capacity to work harmoniously and constructively within a team environment and work collaboratively to develop innovative solutions.
  • Your demonstrated experience in providing high levels of customer service and an ability to work collaboratively with managers, utilising effective communication and influencing skills (both oral and written).
