About the Bureau

The Australian Government is investing in flood warning infrastructure to simplify ownership and maintenance of high-priority assets. This investment will enable the Bureau to integrate local government-owned rain and river level gauges into its existing flood warning network across Australia.

Role Overview

This experienced stakeholder engagement professional will lead staff from across the Bureau's various Groups and Programs to build a reputation as a trusted collaborator and partner in delivering flood warning services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Customer Leads in communication and engagement activities with key government and community stakeholders.
  • Inform the delivery of critical flood warning infrastructure and identify project impacts and sentiment.
Reporting Lines

This role has a dual reporting line to the Manager, Stakeholder Engagement - Flood Warning Infrastructure Network Program and the Manager, Hazard, Preparedness and Response National.

Work Environment

Brisbane preferred, but other Bureau capital city office locations may be considered.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $115,115 - $125,760 per annum, inclusive of superannuation.
