Aboriginal Professional Development Lead

We are seeking an Aboriginal Professional Practice Advisor to monitor regional performance and contribute to policy and procedures that enhance culturally appropriate case practice.
This role will support workforce development initiatives, connecting Aboriginal clients to services. The successful candidate will be based in Reservoir and develop case management staff to deliver culturally appropriate practice; increasing their knowledge of Aboriginal culture and building capacity across all positions.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated understanding of the Aboriginal community, society, and culture, as well as the issues impacting it. They will also possess knowledge of culturally safe and supportive case management practices for Aboriginal clients, using these skills to influence practice and reduce risk.
A key requirement is the ability to communicate sensitively and work effectively with the Victorian Aboriginal community.
