Job Summary
Mater Misericordiae Ltd is seeking a skilled Hospitality Services Assistant to join our team on a casual basis, with potential to evolve into a permanent role. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the delivery of effective cleaning and hygiene services to delegated areas of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the delivery of cleaning and hygiene services to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hospital.
- Prepare, assemble, and deliver patient meals in a timely and efficient manner.
- Work collaboratively with the hospitality team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
- Assist with the maintenance of a clean and safe environment throughout the hospital.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hospital or hotel cleaning/good services role.
- Previous experience as a kitchen hand.
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Knowledge of current food hygiene principles, practices, and legislation.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding job.
- Ability to recognise and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Ability to engage with a variety of people.
