We are seeking an experienced and passionate Veterinary Hospital Director to lead our team at Animal Emergency Australia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for steering our emergency and general practice teams towards excellence.
This role is central to nurturing and developing our veterinary professionals, creating a culture of collaboration, and driving the clinical and operational success of our hospital. You will work hand-in-hand with our leadership team, including clinical and non-clinical staff, to align hospital operations with our core values and strategic goals.
Supported by a national team that handles marketing, IT, HR, and finance, you will focus on fostering a culture of clinical excellence and compassion. This is a full-time role that requires weekend, night, and public holiday work considerations.

AES Bangalow offers 24/7 patient care through a combination of a general practice team (Bangalow Vets) and an after-hours service (AES North Coast) with a highly skilled, collaborative team of veterinarians and nurses, many of whom work across both aspects of the hospital.
The hospital also supports a consulting internal medicine specialist working from the hospital twice weekly and available for advice at any time, plus a specialist surgeon who operates when needed.

Requirements:
- Veterinary degree recognized in Australia and current registration.
- Experience in leading teams.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding patient care.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package within the $155,000 - $185,000 ++ range (experience dependent), a $5,000 annual CPD allowance and career development support, flexible work arrangements to support work-life balance, discounted treatments for your own pets, and access to an Employee Assistance Program (wellbeing and mental health support).
