Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join our coaching staff. This role combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on coaching, making it an ideal opportunity for a passionate gymnastics professional looking to take the next step in their career.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of developing successful competitive gymnasts, excellent leadership and team management skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire both coaches and athletes.

They will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of gymnastics coaches, developing and implementing training programs, conducting regular team meetings, and overseeing the planning and execution of gymnastics events.

  • Lead and mentor a team of gymnastics coaches
  • Develop and implement training programs for competitive gymnasts
  • Conduct regular team meetings
  • Oversee the planning and execution of gymnastics events
  • Communicate effectively with parents, athletes, and other staff members
  • Contribute to the overall growth and development of the gymnastics program
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant gymnastics governing body regulations

Requirements:

A minimum of 1 year of experience as a gymnastics coach, with a leadership role, and current certification from GYMNASTICS AUSTRALIA is required. Strong organisational and time management skills, proficiency in using gymnastics-specific software and technology, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
