Job Title: Senior Building and Development Compliance Officer

About the Role

This is a key role within our organization that involves enforcing laws and regulations related to building and development compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, leading investigations into suspected breaches of the law, and preparing legal actions as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of building and development legislation, including experience in conducting compliance and enforcement investigations. They will also possess excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct inspections and investigations into suspected breaches of the law
  2. Prepare legal actions for enforcement of applicable laws
  3. Assist with mentoring and supporting Compliance Officers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of building and development legislation
  • Experience in conducting compliance and enforcement investigations
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Substantial relevant practical experience

We are offering a salary package of up to $102,835 per annum, depending on skills and experience. This includes:
