An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled professional to join the Financial Crime Compliance team in an AML Investigations Analyst role.
This position forms part of the 2nd Line of Defence (2LoD) within the Compliance department, involving transaction monitoring and analysis, delegation to form suspicions on financial crime matters, and preparing and submitting Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) to relevant authorities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough reviews and investigations of referred cases, escalating high-risk matters where necessary.
- Input and update Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) in online platforms.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in the SMR database.
- Prior experience in writing SMRs is essential for success in this role.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
