Transaction Diligence Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transaction Diligence Manager to join our team in Melbourne. This individual will be responsible for managing due diligence engagements related to the acquisition or disposal of businesses by private equity investors or strategic corporate buyers.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a Transaction Services role within an Advisory environment, working independently and with senior stakeholders on multiple engagements. They will also possess a strong work ethic and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas in a collaborative team environment.

As part of our EY Parthenon Transaction Diligence team, this individual will work with many of the world's largest organisations, fastest-growing companies, and private equity firms on some of the most complex deals in the global market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage due diligence engagements related to the acquisition or disposal of businesses
  • Analyse financial/operational results of targets through reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management
  • Project manage teams, information flows, and manage key stakeholders
  • Identify and analyse key value drivers to deliver financial and commercial insights, which directly impact deal value and deal structuring
  • Based on analysis, write up findings and recommendations
Requirements:
  • Experience in a Transaction Services role within an Advisory environment
  • A bachelors or master's degree in accounting, business, finance, or economics
  • Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants or international equivalent
  • Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas in a collaborative team environment
