About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, functional, and welcoming environment for our residents.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and supervision, with a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for carrying out repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance, as well as supervising and managing a team of maintenance and grounds staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the smooth operation of the maintenance department, including planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance tasks.
  • To supervise and manage a team of maintenance and grounds staff, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • To maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and safety procedures.
  • To identify and report any potential safety hazards or risks to management.
  • To maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, responding promptly to resident concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years' experience in a maintenance or trade role.
  • A current driver's license.
  • A valid Australian work rights.
  • A current police check.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and procedures.
  • Ability to supervise and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks.
