Virtual Education Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and qualified professional to deliver high-quality online education to students in Years 7-10. As a virtual school teacher, you will play a key role in shaping the educational experience of our students through effective teaching practices and the utilization of digital learning platforms.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team as a Virtual Education Specialist. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering engaging and interactive lessons, and will be able to leverage technology to enhance student learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development: Plan and implement comprehensive and engaging curriculum programs that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Digital Learning Platforms: Utilize Canvas and other ICT learning platforms to create immersive and interactive learning experiences.
  • Pedagogical Practice: Demonstrate expertise in pedagogical practice and content knowledge to engage students in online learning.
  • Child Safety: Maintain a child-safe environment and adhere to relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Recognized teaching qualification and registration with Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
  • Certification: Evidence of right to work in Australia, Proof of identity, Clearance status of Working with Children Check (where applicable), and Statements of service from previous child-connected roles.
