Rural Sales Leadership

This is a leadership role for those passionate about rural sales and product knowledge. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our sales team, leveraging their expertise in agronomy and rural products to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales performance through effective inventory management and debtor arrangements.
  • Oversight of branch staffing requirements, including recruitment, rostering, training, and performance management.
  • Nurturing the sales team to achieve targets, upskill capabilities, and provide value-added training with suppliers.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and advice on rural products while introducing new product lines.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of retail strategies, including driving key sales campaigns and activities.
About You
  • Proven experience in leading dynamic sales teams with a background in agronomy or the rural industry.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret and prepare profit and loss reports.
  • PASSION for building strong relationships, internally and externally, creating a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and operating point-of-sale systems.
  • Understanding of agriculture products, seasonal requirements, and local market dynamics.
