Pipeline Release Manager

We are seeking an experienced Pipeline Release Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of release management processes and be able to implement and manage seamless release processes ensuring timely delivery of updates.

  • The successful candidate will develop and maintain a comprehensive release management process to deploy pipeline code effectively.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to ensure timely releases based on development plans.
  • Work closely with the pipeline team and production users to guarantee all release criteria are met.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to proactively address issues and minimize their impact on release times.
  • Oversee post-release activities, gathering feedback from stakeholders, and facilitating continuous improvements.
  • Monitor and maintain deployment environments to ensure compatibility with upcoming releases.
  • Document and disseminate release notes to Production and CG Supervisors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact during release activities, coordinating efforts to resolve any arising issues.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should possess 3+ years of experience in release management or a related field within software development or IT operations. Key skills include a strong understanding of Agile practices, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and familiarity with version control systems, CI/CD tools, and release automation technologies.

A detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities, proficiency in risk management, and mitigation strategies is essential for this role. Experience with Jenkins, Git, Rez, and programming languages (e.g., Python) is highly desirable.
