Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

Adelaide Hills Campus King's is seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the campus for the year.

About Us: King's Early Learning is a centre of excellence for children aged 3-5 years. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, our approach honours each child as a unique gift from God-full of potential and capable of contributing meaningfully to their world.

The Role: As an Early Childhood Educator at King's, you will establish a stimulating, child-centred, and positive learning environment aligned with our values. You will prioritize the pastoral care and welfare of all children in our care. You will develop strong relationships with children and help them explore and develop their faith. You will utilize effective teaching strategies inspired by Reggio Emilia and the Early Years Learning Framework. You will identify individual learning needs and create differentiated experiences for effective engagement. You will assess and document children's learning and development in line with policies. You will communicate effectively with parents through various channels, including meetings, portfolios, and reports. You will collaborate with the Director to develop Individual Learning Plans for children with specific needs.

Essential Criteria: A personal commitment to King's Vision, Mission and Values that underpin the delivery of a Christian-based education to students in the School community is essential to this role. A Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA-approved equivalent is required. Registration (or eligibility) with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia is necessary. Experience in an Early Learning Centre, ideally within a school context, is desired. Strong understanding of faith-based education and nurturing a child's faith journey is required. Familiarity with or willingness to learn the Reggio Emilia approach is expected. A passion for creating a positive and engaging learning environment is necessary. Strong understanding of early childhood development, inclusive practices, and parent engagement is required.
