About This Role

We are seeking experienced and skilled tradespeople to join our team in an underground coal mining environment. The successful candidates will have a proven track record in installing, commissioning, maintaining, and operating underground mining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and commission new underground mining equipment ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Maintain and repair existing equipment to prevent mechanical and hydraulic faults.
  • Implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize equipment performance and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Underground Coal Mining.
  • A Certificate of proficiency in a mechanical trade.
  • Solid knowledge of underground mining equipment and machinery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • A strong commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
