This Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist position is part of the Government of Western Australia Department of Health.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing specialist clinical neuropsychological services to children and adolescents with complex neurological/mental health/psychological and neuropsychological disorders.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive clinical neuropsychological assessments and interventions for children and adolescents with complex neurological/mental health/psychological and neuropsychological disorders.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to address cognitive deficits and psychosocial co-morbidities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide education and training on neuropsychological matters.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure they develop the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality clinical neuropsychological services.
- Pursue opportunities for professional development and contribute to research activities that improve patient outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A doctoral degree in clinical neuropsychology or a related field.
- Registration as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Extensive experience working with children and adolescents with complex neurological/mental health/psychological and neuropsychological disorders.
- Demonstrated expertise in clinical neuropsychological assessment and intervention.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
