  • Leadership and Teamwork: Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication among nursing staff, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, ensuring clear and respectful communication.
  • Patient-Centred Care: Prioritise patient needs, respecting individual preferences and values, and provide compassionate and empathetic care.

Selection Criteria:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in a paediatric critical care environment.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with a focus on quality improvement and patient safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • A current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).
