In 2021, a consortium led by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets (MIRA) acquired BINGO Industries. MIRA is recognized as one of the leading alternative asset managers globally and is part of the publicly listed Macquarie Group Limited.
BINGO has recently inaugurated Australia's largest and most advanced recycling facility at our Eastern Creek Recycling Ecology Park. This facility, featuring state-of-the-art manufacturing technology, MPC2 (Materials Processing Centre), is set to be a world-class recycling asset located in Sydney.
The dedicated team of Fitters at BINGO plays a crucial role in maintaining the fixed plant machinery within our Eastern Creek Ecology Park.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting scheduled preventative maintenance inspections on plant machinery
- Performing daily pre and post-operation checks on equipment
- Adjusting, rotating, and replacing components and machinery as necessary to enhance operational efficiency
- Focusing on the maintenance of conveyor systems
- Addressing site breakdowns, diagnosing issues, and executing repairs
- Identifying faults and performing operational maintenance on mechanical equipment
- Reviewing technical drawings and specifications to determine appropriate machinery settings, materials, and operational methods
- Fabricating, threading, bending, and installing hydraulic and pneumatic piping systems.
Qualifications:
- Heavy Mechanical trade qualification (Plant or machinery)
- Experience in a heavy industrial setting is highly advantageous
- Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and various shifts as required
- Possession of personal tools and a valid driver's license
- Capability to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- A strong commitment to safety and a focused work ethic
