About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team at the Honeymoon Uranium Mine in South Australia. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing mechanical servicing and preventative maintenance on the plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections of plant and equipment, identifying areas for improvement and implementing preventative measures.
  • Carry out mechanical servicing and maintenance tasks, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Operate in accordance with the Company's Safety and Health Policy, and with all site policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in call-outs as required, providing support to the maintenance team.
  • Assist with plant commissioning and ensure all equipment is properly installed and functioning.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Australian Mechanical trade qualifications, such as a Cert 3 in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or a Boilermaker qualification.
  • Relevant mechanical experience, with a focus on fixed plant equipment.
  • Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic experience.
  • Knowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements in a mine environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Australian Drivers Licence.
