We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager IT Procurement to join our dynamic procurement team. As the ideal candidate, you will have extensive experience in IT procurement, with a deep understanding of market trends, technologies, and supplier landscapes.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with IT stakeholders to understand requirements and develop procurement strategies that align with business objectives, managing the procurement lifecycle from sourcing to contract management and supplier performance evaluation, leading high-value negotiations to secure optimal terms and conditions for IT procurement activities, conducting market research to identify potential vendors and technologies, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships.

Additionally, you will ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency in procurement activities while maintaining quality standards, foster and manage strong relationships with IT vendors, ensuring alignment with company values and expectations, identify and mitigate risks associated with IT procurement activities, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations, and stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement in IT procurement practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on IT goods and services, preferably in a retail or similar fast-paced environment
  • Extensive experience in IT procurement, with a deep understanding of market trends, technologies, and supplier landscapes
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead high-value negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external partners
